SingWest A Cappella Fiesta
Indian Blue Chorus joined together with a cappella choruses from Western Australia to bring the SingWest A Cappella Fiesta event to the Heath Ledger Theatre! In collaboration with the four Sweet Adelines Australia Choruses in Perth - Indian Blue Chorus, A Cappella West, Perth Harmony and Voices of the Vasse - and Barbershop Harmony Australia, 225 singers crossed the stage during the day for the BHA Western Region contest and then again in the evening in the WA Harmony Showcase, watched by an almost full house!
The finale of the concert saw almost 500 in the audience join in singing I Am Australian!
Congratulations to JuMBuK quartet, who won 1st place, and Moving Parts, who was awarded 2nd place. in the Invitational contest. Indian Blue Chorus' performance saw them awarded 3rd place in the Invitational Chorus contest with an average score of 74.2!!! A great achievement for us performing our 1940s package on stage for the first time!
