What a night at rehearsal ... 78% of the chorus joined us, with 92% 'in the Room' and 8% 'on Zoom'!
Our three-month scarf project came to an end on 1st Sep celebrating IBC’s commitment to our own community. Whilst we were all far apart members knitted their own scarf in IBC chorus colours so that when we could gather again we could wear them and celebrate as one! Thanks to Barb Turner, our Membership Coordinator, for laying the seed!
'Blue Moon Dreaming” honoured the 8th anniversary of the Blue Moon that Kali saw from her window - from which IBC was born. WOW - we looked 'outside' the dot (thanks Jan Carley) and dreamt: "We cannot have the forward momentum that we would wish, but we can move sideways and become richer for the experience."
We, as a community, are grateful we can gather together face to face and by Zoom even though we are still limited in our performances ... but were thrilled to announce we now have two performance opportunities in our City of Joondalup in November & December!
And there was MORE!! 'Moving Parts' Quartet auditioned (and PASSED!); Jos was awarded 'Star of the Month'; Carolyn & Diane were awarded their five year pins ... and we shared the evening with our Associates - Juliana, Grainne and Janet (on Zoom)!
