It truly was an amazing night, integrating the 'Festival of Kali' into our 2020 Christmas party ... starting with physical warm ups to Kali’s favourite song and then line dancing to another; Kali leading a sand ceremony to 'let go of 2020'; chorus members getting very excited in pass the parcel and musical chairs ... whilst half the chorus stopped and started singing; Kali being Santa's Elf and delivering 'pay it forward' gifts from members to members; our traditional Christmas ornament exchange; presenting Kali with a Ngulliboo(All Of Us) shawl and a tribute of words of gratitude from chorus members presented with photos of Kali throughout the year, which will be printed as a book for her. Kali has been the 'glue' that has kept us together in 2020 ... and so much more!
